Cone Lizards, or by their ID, 014, are the only reptilian species in the corporation, aside from Dark and Blue Dragons. They have bright and yellow scales all over their body, with a slightly lighter underbelly. The species has a thick tail that allows them to balance perfectly fine, especially if they are scaling up demanding heights. Cone Lizards are most known for their iconic cone that sits perfectly on their head. While the species doesn't have any nerve cells within their cone, the cone seems to be attached to the "skull" itself - serving as a clearly visible extension to the bone.
Cone Lizards are an excessively cautious species - they are wary of everybody and everything, which applies to even their own kin. They are one of the most nervous and shy species out of all of the other specimens, and will usually immediately choose to flee or hide if they are ever startled. The species is independent and will not pack, pair, or group up at all. They will value their own lives more than others.
Their wariness leads them to always stay within the comfort of their enclosure, even if it becomes cramped. Cone Lizards are fearful of new things or people and will always stay in or near their familiar territory. They may be curious enough to investigate, but at most, they'll observe from a far and safe distance.
014s typically don't communicate or interact with anybody and thus, cannot understand English at all. In fact, they will avoid interactions as much as possible to the point where they'll turn tail and run away. They have little to no social experience and will find it difficult to even communicate or understand the shared latex language. This skeptical species will only be open to interaction if an individual has proven themself to be safe to be around, and if said individual is predictable enough for a 014 to not be concerned with fleeing. That being said, Cone Lizards commonly communicate with body language and/or with their environment. They will employ innumerable ways to communicate, whether it should be with nodding their head, hitting the ground as a way of negation or discomfort, or even utilizing another object. Their communication efforts can be vast, but so long as they are comfortable while doing so.
Cone Lizards are not territorial or aggressive upon one another. In the rare event of multiple instances getting into a disagreement with each other, they'll talk through body language, but will almost never hurt each other. They will not attempt to instigate any fights as well and like always, will choose to flee rather than fight.
The species is easily provoked, but will not prioritize defending themselves instead of fleeing. If somebody - say a test subject - were to ever disturb them over and over again, then Cone Lizards will feel aggressive enough to give off a few warning punches. There's always a chance that it'll pass over that line, and so, the species will usually incapacitate or even kill the disturbing individual without remorse.
Cone Lizards are inherently cautious and will demonstrate that to other species. They will avoid other specimens entirely and would rather bask in the familiarity of their own chamber. With that being said, Cone Lizards will not act territorial of other species entering their enclosure, but they will start to feel stressed if too many instances cramp the room. The longer a Cone Lizard is stressed, the higher chances they will lash out and demand the intruding species out or away elsewhere in the chamber.
Cone Lizards are omnivorous creatures and can eat a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and meats. The species are not picky to any foods, but they seem to have an affinity towards bananas. However, there are some foods that are extremely fatal to them and can kill them upon a few hours after consumption - of which are avocadoes and oranges.
Their chamber is located in Unit 1, right beside the Dark Dragon chamber. In their room, there is a large and flat puddle of their kind, as well as several cones drawn out unevenly onto the floor. The enclosure is decently sized and has just barely enough room to accompany a few Cone Lizards respecting their personal space. Cone Lizards enjoy being in the light and to be able to see their surroundings, as they cannot see very well in the dark. The enclosure provides just that, giving the species an adequate amount of reassurance.
